Hill Walking

Hill Walking

Ireland is a great destination for avid walkers, but this island has a whole lot more to offer. There's a good reason why Ireland is fast becoming known as a walker's paradise. This green country on the western edge of Europe not only has the kind of temperate climate that walkers love, but the variety of landscape here is exceptional for such a small country. Fishing

Fishing

Clare can offer you everything in shore fishing, from the latest Irish record Bass, a mere 17 lb 13 oz taken from the shore at Doonbeg, to Green Island near Lahinch where Porbeagle and Blue Shark are available from the shore, to the wild sea cliffs of Black Head where everything is catchable, and back to the mighty Shannon Estuary where record bearded rockling rub shoulders with massive packs of thornback and blonde ray As on http://www.sea-angling-ireland.org/boats%20-%20clare.htm

Carrigaholt Harbour near Kilkee is situated in the Shannon estuary, providing brilliant fishing in all weather conditions. Ray, conger, bass, dogfish and tope are just a few of the diverse species you can expect to catch around the harbour. The end of the harbour's peninsula provides some especially great catches: anglers have been known to land up to twenty species in one day! These include blue shark and large skate. A charter company, Fish and Stay, can take you out to the best marks off Kilkee's coastline. Most fishing charter companies hire out rods and tackle and provide bait. You don't even have to be an experienced angler, as there are often expert skippers and instructors on hand to help you with the intricacies of casting and reeling. All you need to bring is a desire to experience the excitement of landing a massive fish in the middle of the deep blue ocean. As on http://www.toureagle.com/Activities/ie/lahinch/offshore-fishing
